Henry brings extensive global expertise with over two decades of leadership and hands-on experience in commodity trading, portfolio management, and risk management across diverse markets. Currently, he is the Founder and Managing Director of Great Southern Cross Commodities, focusing on restructuring, risk management, commodity trading, and capital solutions. Notably, he advised Mercon Coffee on its $363 million Chapter 11 restructuring and the sale of its US and Vietnam businesses, alongside Rothschild & Co.
Henry previously served as Chief Investment Officer and Head of Trading at Engelhart Financial Trading, where he oversaw global trading operations across macro commodities, equities, foreign exchange, and financial instruments. At BTG Pactual, he managed significant proprietary trading portfolios in coffee and cotton, building robust global research and physical trading capabilities.
His extensive experience also includes leadership roles at NAB, Noble Group, and Macquarie Bank, where he oversaw proprietary and client-driven trading portfolios across agriculture, energy, soft commodities, base and precious metals, and FX markets. Henry co-founded and led global trading desks, managing extensive operations throughout Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas.

John has over 30 years of extensive experience in global commodity markets, having successfully established, developed, and led commodity trading businesses for prominent financial institutions including JP Morgan, Macquarie, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), and National Australia Bank (NAB). Currently, John serves as a Senior Advisor at Great Southern Cross Commodities, specializing in commodity derivatives, risk management, capital raising, and asset management.
Prior to this, John held significant roles such as Global Head of Commodity Trading at NAB, where he managed comprehensive commodity trading operations. As an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase in London, he contributed significantly to the commodities division. His earlier career included senior trading roles at Commonwealth Bank and Macquarie Bank, focusing on agricultural, soft commodities, and derivatives trading.
Throughout his distinguished career, John has developed deep expertise in advanced trading systems and sophisticated risk management practices, consistently driving operational excellence, profitability, and robust risk mitigation strategies across global markets.

Bryan Duncan is a commodities and energy executive with more than 20 years of international experience across renewable fuels, commodity trading, structured finance and mining markets.
He has held senior roles with Deutsche Bank, Citi and Noble Group, working across Australia, China, Indonesia, Singapore and Europe. Bryan’s background spans physical trading, commercial strategy, structured finance and risk management across global commodity markets, with particular expertise in renewable fuels feedstocks including UCO, HVO, biodiesel and SAF-related markets.
At GSX, Bryan focuses on renewable fuels strategy, commodity structured finance and commercial development across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, helping clients navigate evolving energy transition and commodity market opportunities.

More about Asher
Asher Jintoorkar is a Commodity Analyst based in Sydney. His focused building out the GSX Research Platform and working with clients on any bespoke analysis. He is building comprehensive supply and demand models and simultaneously developing our backend and frontend infrastructure to enhance GSX's research capabilities.
Asher brings extensive financial markets experience from his internships with ANZ Global Markets, where he was in the eFICC team and Macquarie Group, where he was an intern on the Money Market Desk and Liquidity Risk team. He further honed his skills in financial services during his graduate role at Australian Super.
Academically, Asher is studying a Master of Quantitative Finance at University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours) in Chemistry from the University of Sydney, and dual degrees in Science and Mathematics from the University of Newcastle.
His international exposure includes participation in the Future Chemist International Summer Camp at the University of Science and Technology of China (2018) and being a Ma & Morley Scholar (2021) which involved a tour to China and a visit to Alibaba Headquarters.
Committed to leadership and disciplined teamwork, Asher also competed at an elite level in swimming representing Australia at the Pacific School Games and breaking Australian Age Group records.

Luiz Guilherme Coelho is a Partner and Country Manager of GSX Commodities Brasil. Based in São Paulo, with the company's operations headquartered in Varginha, Minas Gerais — the heart of Brazil's coffee belt — he leads the company's commercial and operational management in Brazil, covering the origination and sourcing of coffee, cotton and other agricultural commodities, logistics and contract execution, banking operations, and the finance and risk framework of the Brazilian platform.
Guilherme brings over 30 years of finance and controllership experience across commodity trading and Brazil's agribusiness and energy value chains. Most recently, he served as Country Controller of Mercon Coffee Group in Brazil, leading the finance function of an origination operation of 1.2 million bags. Previously, he was Head of FP&A at Cargill Bioenergia and spent over a decade at Louis Dreyfus Company and Biosev in senior controllership and FP&A leadership roles in Brazil's sugar, ethanol and bioenergy sector.
His earlier career includes audit and advisory roles at national and international firms. Guilherme's expertise spans financial strategy and performance management, treasury, funding and trade finance, FX and commodity risk management, tax strategy, M&A and corporate restructuring, and the design of governance and internal-control frameworks for trading operations. He holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC São Paulo.

Vinicius Souza Barquette serves as Legal Director at GSX Commodities Brasil and is a Brazilian attorney specialized in agribusiness, with extensive experience in the coffee sector, one of the most relevant agricultural markets in the world.
He is the founding partner of Souza Barquette Advogados, a law firm headquartered in Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil’s leading coffee-producing region. In addition to his legal practice, Vinicius is a Professor of Law, Administrative Director of the Coffee Trade Center of the State of Minas Gerais (CCCMG), and an active member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/MG).
With more than a decade of experience in the coffee market, Vinicius advises producers, exporters, traders, cooperatives, and financial institutions on complex legal and commercial matters involving coffee purchase and sale agreements, rural product certificates (CPRs), barter transactions, rural credit operations, corporate restructurings, judicial reorganizations, and strategic negotiations.Recognized for his deep knowledge of the Brazilian coffee market, Vinicius frequently contributes to specialized agribusiness media and collaborates with leading industry organizations and representative institutions.
